Ka pasé ... Ka vini constantly goes back and forth between the past and the future, between the instrument and the dance that have forged Guadeloupean culture, the relationship of Guadeloupeans to this music and its future in the wake of Gwo-ka recognition as part pf the humanity heritage.

This original, breathtakingly energetic choregraphic journey is based on the story of a young woman from a Basse-Terre bourgeois family who arrives in Pointe-à-Pitre to study.

One evening, she is caught up by Gwo-ka, this music so much criticized, but which inexorably attracts her.

Designed to entertain, stir up questioning, nourish introspection, but also to tease all generations of spectators imagination, this show combines the bewitching sounds of Gwo-ka with the exhilarating controlled gesture power.
